Despite some of the negative reviews about rusting, I decided to take a chance on this tumbler. I immediately fell in love when I took it out of the package. The color is awesome and it felt heavy and well made. Unfortunately it stained after the first use (black tea) which was annoying, but not a huge deal. A few weeks later, the stainless steel inner coating started to peel and rust. I wish I could return this item, but I first noticed this rusting one day after my 30 day return window closed. I'm beyond bummed.

I waited a bit to try this out before posting a review and I can honestly say they weren't exaggerating how well this works. I use it constantly because I have medications that give me dry mouth and just drinking water doesn't help. I fill this up with flavored water and some ice and it stays cold all day. At night even with it sitting on my nightstand right by the heating vent I have a constantly cold drink. Today I filled it up with hot coffee and went out to snow blow my driveway (we got about 8-10 inches) and it kept my coffee nice and warm the entire time! I love that the straw is metal because it makes it easy to clean with the included brush and I don't have to worry about bacteria building up in any scratches. I'll most likely be ordering more of these for my family because my sister wants one now as well. As for durability it's held up to me dropping it multiple times without so much as a scratch. I'm kind of a klutz and I went through 3 plastic tumblers before I found this one, believe me it's definitely worth the price.

I ordered the healthy human insulated cup to use at work. I love how it hold a large volume of water. It had some weight behind it too which to me seems like it is a quality item that will last. The cup definitely keeps my ice water ice-cold. In fact the ice takes hours to melt. In fact the water stays so cold it almost freezes your lip coming though the stainless steel straw. Now the straw I thought was cool at first but like I said it transfers the temp of the liquid to your lips. I'd imagine very hot liquid would heat up the straw and possibly burn your lips the same as the cold freezes. The metal straw tends to get a metallic flavor to my water-I can live with that... but the straw rubs against the bottom of the cup and is loud. I donwith it came with a plastic straw instead.

I got this on a black friday 2016 order. I got a good deal, as they are pretty expensive. I don't regret spending it on this at all. This was one of the best products I have ever purchased. It was so much better than I even expected. When I got it I appreciated that it was such a quality, well made product. The steel is clearly high quality, and has been polished to a high shine inside and around the rim. The orange color also looks very nice. Not too bright or dull. Whatever the stuff is they used to color the outside is also high quality, with no chipping, scratches etc. over the course of daily use for 5 months. I do take good care of it though and carefully hand wash it and the stainless straw that is included. I also only exclusively use it in my bedroom. So it doesn't travel and isn't subject to that wear and tear, though given it's performance, I assume it would be fine. There was an insulated, clear, double walled plastic lid with about an inch wide opening for the straw or drinking, included with my purchase. I also appreciate that this is a safe product to use. I'm not ingesting endocrine disruptors from plastic drinking glasses, and I like supporting a company that seems to care about people's health. Even the name of the company, "Healthy Human" says what they're about. I got this in an effort to quit a serious diet soda habit. By habit, I mean I drank diet soda all day and all night long. For years I thought this was okay b/c as a diabetic you think you are doing the right thing avoiding sugar. Now it seems that the artificial sweeteners cause insulin resistance, one of the things that makes a type 2 diabetic, diabetic. However, I hate having to go upstairs and downstairs all day to get ice for water. I only like it when it is ice cold. This product solved that problem. I don't have to go get ice all day. Packing it with ice allows it to become super cold, and it makes water taste better. The longest the ice has lasted is almost 24 hours, by really packing it with ice. Every time I drink from it, it reminds me of drinking fresh, icy cold water from a rushing stream. When water tastes better you will end up drinking more of it. Btw, I was the person who reacted to water like, "I have to drink water. Ugh." My water is also filtered with one of those Brita or Pur pitchers (I have both). I also think drinking from a stainless straw helps continue conducting the cold, and is much nicer than a plastic straw, plus no plastic straws in the waste-stream. I have a bunch of the stainless straws and they are great too. It makes a great stirrer for anything you would mix in. I also like that nothing will break and have to be thrown out like a broken glass. I have quite a knack for knocking glass tumblers over. Anyway, for months after the purchase I kept raving about it because I was enjoying it so much. It really made daily life easier and more pleasant. I talked it up so much that my husband asked for one for his birthday and he now uses his daily too. He got it in "Limoncello", which like the orange is neither too bright or too dull. We considered the bright yellow green b/c it was slightly cheaper, but it was like an acid neon. I think it was called 'margarita' or something like that, but we thought that would not be easy on the eyes. I wanted the one that looks like wood, as I liked it best, but I couldn't justify spending that much more for it. In fact, I am perfectly happy with the happy orange color and am amazed at how long it can keep things ice cold. Lastly, I appreciate that the company stands behind it's product and seems to want people to be happy with it. It is a bit pricey, but worth every penny. You can be confident that you will be getting a good product on which to spend your hard earned money.

I make my coffee for work at 8:30 am. Coffee is valuable and important to me. I cherish the grounds I measure into my percolated coffeemaker. I carefully measure water so as not to weaken the strength of the grinds.

My coffee is hot. Just enough for a little pain to taste all the pleasure. I pour and fix my coffee at 8:30am.

11am. I sit at my gray cubicle looking out upon the gray horizon of corporate wilderness. Everything is monotone. I feel nothing.

11:07. My day is about to start. I nonchalantly grab my hot pink coffee mug, it's plastic outer is smooth but steel weight comforting. I put the stainless steel straw to my lips. Hot. My coffee is still hot. I feel, I taste. And just for a moment, I know I have someone on my side.
