I had to replace the original brine tank since the previous owner apparently never cleaned the tank. There was 14 inches of salt block in the bottom of the tank which interfered with the float assembly operation. Easiest thing to do was replace the entire thing.
The float mechanism and tank connected perfectly to the existing system and are working perfectly. Highly recommend this product to anyone needing to replace their existing tank and float system.
