I like this case well enough. It fits correctly, cutouts are all good and don't impede. As far as I can tell there is no halo-flash effect when taking photos through this case which is good.
The back design is a little goofy looking in my opinion, but it's fine. It definitely provides a lot more grip than leaving this phone naked! I bought the black case so that it would not attract attention. Seems to provide good protection.
I am still waiting for a screen protector to arrive today to see how it fits along with this case. I'll update my review after.
UPDATE: I received my Orzero tempered glass protectors today and I test fit one with the case on. It was pretty tight, but seemed to fit. I then took the case off and put on the protector very carefully, noting where the case ended on the test fit. After putting the case back on, it fits perfectly with no issue.

Tudia makes great cases, and this one is no exception.
The case is excellent for two purposes:
First, it is robust enough (especially at the reinforced corners) to save the phone from most damage when dropped.
Second, it is "grippy" enough (especially at the edges) to prevent most drops in the first place.
The Essential phone PH-1 with its ceramic back is inherently slippery and easily dropped. This case helps improve the grip on the phone and protects it if it should fall.
However, the Tudia isn't a fashion cover. It isn't designed to improve the look of the phone or to make a fashion statement. It's pure function all the way.

This is is a good case. It adds a lot of grip, the cutouts are perfect, the buttons are clicky, and it even has an indentation over the top speaker so as to not interfere with audio nor cover up the notification LED. Tudia put a lot of effort into making this work well within the tiny bezels they had to work with. The inside of the case has a pattern on it so it doesn't trap dust/sand and cause it to scrape against the back of the phone. Also, the four corners of the case have a bit of an "air bubble" in them to help protect your phone from drops as it lands on the corners - very well thought-out!
If I were to list problems with the case, it would only be that it does interfere with full-screen tempered glass screen protectors (so far, none of them are any good anyways, so it's not yet a problem for me) and some people report that it scratches the plastic between the titanium and the screen (I've not yet seen this but I believe them). Other than those two things, it's a great case! If that scratching thing begins to happen to me, I'll probably knock a star off of this review but until then, it's a solid 5 star case for me!

Fits the phone fine and seems to offer moderate protection against scratches but, looks terrible after five days of use. Gray color shows all marks, even the slightest, which means I should've bought black instead.

The reason I gave it two stars is because the fit is off. It is slightly loose; the tolerances for each edge is large enough to where the phone does not fit completely snugly in the case. For example, if you're moving your finger on the edges of the screen, and rub up against the edge of the case, you can lift the case edge with your thumb with minimal pressure! This should not happen in case, and gives me serious concern for how impact resistant the case is.
I've never had any case where it felt like it was just a tad too big for the device. I can't imagine how loose this case is going to get with constantly taking it in and out of my pocket--and I've only had it for a couple days.
Unfortunately, there just aren't too many cases for the PH-1, and hardly any on Amazon from the big name players.
Price should be a few dollars lower if the edges aren't going to be snug!
