Pup liked them, unfortunately her tummy is too sensitive.
Good but expensive

My dogs love these, and they stay fresh a long time. I do think they are too expensive, considering they are just dried liver after all. There is no special technology involved, and I can't imagine they are any better than any other dried liver. Also, I am amused by the bold "MADE IN AMERICA" labeling that dwarfs everything else on the package. I'm waiting for the DNA analysis to prove they did not sneak across the border in the dark. Hopefully the new border wall keeps out foreign livers. And I guess American liver tastes better than Bulgarian liver, or does it? And we have sunk so low that we are orgasmically proud of being able to dry liver? As Patrick Henry once said, "Give me liver, or give me death!"
Caution when first given

I have a 29 pound American cocker spaniel who is 3 1/2 years old. He loves the Stewart's freeze dried beef liver.
I bought a small container of the freeze dried cheese to try out. I gave him a half of one piece. He had Diarrhea the next day.
I waited a couple weeks and then gave him an eighth piece. We had to build up to a half a piece. I think it's a little too rich for him.
We are going back to the Stewart's freeze dried beef liver. We love Stewart's!

Dog loves them

Who says you cant teach an old dog new tricks?! We moved from a house to an apartment bldg and had to re-train our 12 y.o. dog to curb his barking while walking thru the hallways. The scent is strong enough that when I'm holding a piece while walking him that he pays attention to me instead of oncoming foot traffic therefore reducing his freakout when he sees people. He's not a biter by any means but the barking is enough to make someone want to jump off the roof. Since using these treats, I have been able to train the dog from barking 100% of the time down to 50% and counting, without having him gain a bunch of weight.
Good for raw feeding

I use these for making raw food for my cats instead of using fresh liver. It's a bit hard but they can be crushed with a mortar and pestle then weighed at the appropriate amount for each batch of raw. I love the lamb because it adds a different liver type to my cats' diet. This is a good amount for the money and lasts a while. Definitely a good deal.
