It's a "good thing."

Got the stool and my son put it together in a short time. I appreciate the little bit extra height. The rotating seat is a feature I like, but it does not sling me off. It turns but you must use some effort to do so. The stool is narrow and as I have a glass enclosure, there is not a lot of room in walking by any chair or bench and the stool fits that area well. It seems stable...didn't wiggle or move around under the shower. I have used it only once and it appears to answer my needs, and I surely don't want to fall. We have a grab bar but the stool is a good deal as it's hard to wash your hair and hold on to the grab bar!

This did exactly what I needed it to do. After foot surgery, I was unable to hop in and out of the shower. The swivel seat on this stool and the unobtrusive profile made the process of entering the shower over the edge of the tub very easy. This is not going to work if you do not have arm strength. I never had any instances of the stool tipping over. I plan to use it outside for gardening or for when I'm picking strawberries.
Wishing Amazon had a Manufacturing quality rating for products.

Have a foot in a cast, really needed something like this to work. Not at all. I'm guessing they get lucky 30% or less with a passing quality product, but they ship out every single one.
There are five wingnut bolts to apply into the rivet nuts of which only 2 made it. One, the rivet nut came out before the leg was secured to the seat. Second one, the threading of the rivet nut was damaged halfway in. The bolt had still a 1/4" or more left before it even touched the metal arm. The third was the middle rivet bolt, which wasn't even the same size as the others and wouldn't fit any of the exact same wing nut.
Just stupid horrible cheap crap quality. Not even going to try an exchange because every bit of it looks cheap.

The only reason I gave this product 2 stars is because they ARE fairly well made, in that the legs and seat frame are sturdy. But the round seat is TOO THIN and flimsy AND DOES NOT ROTATE VERY WELL.
WARNING!!! IT IS VERY EASY TO SLIDE OFF OF THIS SEAT WHEN YOUR ARE WET AND/OR SOAPEY!!!

Fastening screws are to long and will puncture the seat if you tighten them all the way down. Also if You tighten center knob it interferes with swivel ability of chair. I would suggest paying a little more for better quality.
