I was tired or carrying by boots to the slopes in creative ways. Sometimes I was able to lash them together with the straps on the boots and sometimes they went flying. Other times I just walked long distances in the lot with my boots on.

There's a comment elsewhere about the length, and it does seem short at first glance, but I'm 6" tall and it's a comfortable length for me to sling my boots over my shoulder or to hand carry them. The boots do tend to balance weird with the strap attached to the top buckle but that hasn't caused me any problems.

Great for carrying my boots from the car to the lodge. I hate walking with the ski boots so I wear and old pair of shoes to the lodge and stash them somewhere. The strap is awesome. Now I would like to see this company make little bags you can place over the boots and close at the top with a drawstring so if the boots are a bit dirty at the bottom they don't transfer the dirt to your jacket when you place the strap over your shoulder. That would make the whole deal perfect!

I ordered this for my son's snowboard boots and as is, you are not able to attach to the boot. I then ordered a package of black clasp lock clips from Amazon and clipped them onto the carrier strap and hooked it through the loop on his snowboard boots- works great! Remember where you first heard this idea... it's a must for snowboat usage.
