Great concept, but less-than-perfect quality

This strap has a great concept. I purchased it so I'm able to get to the slopes with something that can be easily folded and placed in my pocket. It's light, convenient and perfectly priced. My issue was that the plug from the loop connected to the strap "” the one that goes into the hook "” unexpectedly gave in and my wife's brand new skis almost hit a cement walkway. Luckily, she was able to hold them. They're a pair of Rossignol Famous 6, much lighter than my 10-year-old Völkl skis (which I never used with the straps). I can only imagine this happened due to improper quality control. I love the product, but feel incapable of trusting it again without adding my own fix to it (Maybe a zip tie holding the two pieces together??).

I walk to my ski club at least 4 times a week and recently saw someone wearing similar straps. Went on amazon, purchased what seemed like great quality straps . Also noticed this has the added benefit of holding your skis tightly together and protecting them against scratching one another and giving them a layer of protection when placing them on a flat surface which I guess is another added benefit. Have used them several times since, no issues so far. I see people wearing regular straps to join the skis together but the shoulder padded belt seems like the real win here. Price is a tad greater then others but I am a big believer in you get what you pay from and from the packaging to the quality, I am left satisfied.

Very secure attachment for my old style narrow concave ski. Liked the idea of including attachment straps for poles, but securing the pole straps is awkward. Overall the problem with this system is the time it takes to secure the two pair of attachments. By the time it is completed, others have left you behind carrying their equipment by hand and over their shoulder, oblivious of who they wack with it as they're walking along.

Bought two of the straps because of the convenience factor of needing to only hold ONE set of equipment instead of FOUR. We setup two skis and were ready to transport from the car to the chalet when suddenly one of the plastic loops broke. Luckily we were able to catch the skis before they slammed onto the ground. Because we had a long walk, we tied the strap together and carried on. I will be requesting a refund for one of these. I am excercising caution with the one that still works and all i can do is just hope that it holds up..

Fits the purpose perfectly. Perhaps you can carry your child's ski set as well if you pack smartly. Not impossible. Thought the velcro was located not so naturally but could just be me. Good product.
