Love, Love these filters. The only reason I give them 4 stars is I feel they do not last long enough. I live alone and it seems like I change the filter every two months. Although you could say I drink a lot of water. However if you have a large family, you may end up changing the filter every 3 weeks, in which case perhaps it would be more economical to by an actual ionizer which is more expensive up front, but could be cheaper long term.
Happier going with the Alkaline cartidges

I think I like these better than the original ones that came with the pitcher. They seem to filter faster and our water tastes better not to mention as a bonus our Keurig seems to like it as well since error messages have stopped since using these filters.
