This is a nifty product that could use a few design tweaks. For example when the end of the drum is opened to grab balls from, it's an all-or-nothing opening. I want to be able to pour the balls into a ball machine without needing another person to "funnel" the balls into the machine. I'll be returning it. However, the way the hopper is on the tripod and the way it opens, it would be a good way to "feed" balls to players. I didn't use this hopper on a court, once I saw how the balls were emptied. But I played with it in the house and it worked as advertised. Without balls in it, it's light and portable.
Get's the job done.

I initially set the device up per the instructions but after a few time using it I made some adjustments. I removed the metal legs because they just get caught in the net or fence and bend. I also removed the handles because they kept getting in the way when trying to gather balls by the net or fence. Two days out the balls starting coming out of the unit not from the sides but from the middle. The little bolts had worked themselves free and 2 had actually fallen out causing spreading of the pickup areas. Got replacement bolts at the hardware store and with a little Loctite everything is great now. The stand that comes with it works great.

I've used this product six times in a little over a week and it's worked flawlessly. This is a much better alternative to a tennis ball lawnmower for $1,000. Everyone on a court near us was looking at my son and I pick up tennis balls with this amazing device. The only downside may be that if you're too rough with it, it's plastic and may break. With that said, if you have an IQ over 80, and use a tool properly, it works flawlessly.
