So far so good, have only played the 5 SNES games I have so far and it plays them fantastic. No lag, and colors are fantastic, and i was really worried about the sound being off, but happy to report the sound is great, not tinny at all. As for the longevity I cant speak for that, but will do an update review in a month or so.
Good, but much to be desiried.

Pros: I love the design of the console. Plays most SNES & NES carts. It was relatively a cheap purchase. All the games look fantastic in 720p/16:9 aspect. The input lag is relativity low, if any.
CONS: Games that on the NES side that utilize game saving will act quirky or save-states might malfunction on the NES side of emulation. Yes, the sound is kind of tinny sounding on some games. Some games that utilize special chips, or newer custom rom boards, might not work at all. (My copy of Haunted Halloween '85 will not work.) So be forewarned some home-brew games may not work at all. All of these problems seem to stem from the NES side of emulation, and not the SNES games.
So will this replace your NES/SNES?? Short answer: No, keep your old systems around. But, with future improvements (implementation of FPGA emulation) it could replace your old systems.

I had grown tired of the bad picture quality

This is my first clone console. The main attraction here is the hdmi port. After playing my retro consoles on a modern hdtv for a few years, I had grown tired of the bad picture quality. The classic 2 hd delivers an amazing hd picture that is worth the price. True crystal clear hd that makes those old games feel new again. I noticed some sound difference on batman for the nes but it's just slightly different, not bad and nothing to ruin the experience. No lag at all when tv is in game mode. USB powered through your tv if you want. Save space in your entertainment center by using this instead of a NES and SNES. Both controllers work great I thought. They seem well built, not cheap at all. No negatives at all from me, the YouTube reviews are spot on with this console. It seems that the Amazon reviewers all seem to enjoy the classiq 2 hd as well. Buy it.
Both NES and SNES games look great on the Classiq 2

Both NES and SNES games look great on the Classiq 2.
My only gripe is the sound for the NES.
I know not to expect a perfect replica of the NES' audio but it's overly tinny and sound effects seem to be pushed forward over top the music, certain sounds are just off entirely (coin sound from Super Mario Bros). I'm in no way a retro purist and have used a FC twin before getting this as a Christmas present but it's so off that it really irks me.
The SNES is spot on in every way.
I don't think this ruins it for me because both look amazing and I like the look of the Classiq, it's also super convenient. I think I'll most likely use it to play SNES and fall back on my toploader NES.
First party controllers work great with it, it looks cool (looks like the SNES model 2) and it's overly convenient for modern tv's. I'll have to try connecting it through the RCA outs and see if it makes any difference for the NES audio. Truthfully, that's it's only flaw.
