I had heard so much about Little Fires Everywhere and selected it as my choice for our Book Club. The plot was thoughtful and the entire concept of interracial adoptions and the "stealing" of surrogate babies from adoptive parents was certainly a new area to be explored. I was a bit confused when there were two young girls in the families both getting pregnant and wasn't quite sure who set fire to the house? Was it Mrs Richardson's rebellious daughter or was it Mia, the rental neighbor who was indignant about an Asisan baby's adoption into a Cauasion home? The ending was up in the air leaving the reader to guess the arsonist and what would happen to the two families. Well written but felt the plot could have been made clearer.

The picture makes the hat appear to be a somewhat big hat. Either the model has a very small head or the hat has been enlarged to make it appear to be a big hat. The hat came all folded up in a large envelope type mailing package. The ribbon was all flat and not fluffy like the picture. I tried to puff it up thinking the ribbon had stiff edges to make it keep it's shape. It does not. No matter how much I fluffed and tried to coax the ribbon to stand like it does on the picture, it would lay back down. I am not excited about this hat because what I received does not look like the picture. But since I need it for an upcoming event I am going to keep it.

I was very sad to see the conditions of this hat when I opened the box. The hat was smushed and the ribbon was flat and mangled. The hat is poorly made with glue visible and thin material. The hat had visable seams where it should not have had them.
