Worked with Chromecast but important points were not so clear, also connections are sensitive

After using way more time than appropriate, I learned that the male HDMI plug was probably the input and the female HDMI port is for output. This could have been easily explained in their photos of the product with an arrow indicating input or ouput. The product fact sheet is in Chinese, so I could not understand it. In the end, this does work with my Chromecast, allowing me to use an older monitor as a TV.
The seller response was quick, though their response did not clearly specify the answer to my problem. Also, the connection ports seem to be a little sensitive and this splitter seems to lose connection with every movement of the connections.

Works perfect for hooking up a Roku to a computer monitor and powered speakers. Long story short, I have a music room where i didn't want or need a TV or computer or cable box or anything, but needed youtube and Pandora capability. I had a spare flat screen monitor with no HDMI. This works perfect, the picture and audio from the Roku is great, no lag time or stuttering or any issues. I just plugged it in, no power supply or anything needed. Well done, especially at this price!

I'm giving it a 4 because it does what it says but not what I want. I wanted to attach my Chromecast to an older TV without HDMI in. Since I had to use an adapter to attach the Chromecast to this adapter I was left with picture but no sound. I could attach the Chromecast to the HDMI in port on this adapter and get sound but no picture.

My defunct computer left some hardware still in good condition. The existing DVI cable, audio cable and power cable is all I needed to connect this multi port to give the computer monitor a second life. I can connect my SNES classic mini and play.
The only thing you may need to get is a micro USB cable (that is not provided) to power the unit and voila!
