It will works on Windows 10, and it can work with any RS232 serial device - use a null modem adapter

1. It was not stated, but the cable is actually and RS-232 DCE (data communicating equipment cable). This is not what I wanted, but I am completely happy with it. As a DCE cable it will not inherently work with a Cisco or any other device because these devices are also configured as DCE. BUT, THIS IS NOT A PROBLEM! A male-to-male null modem adapter (https://www.amazon.com/Null-Modem-Adapter-Male-Pack/dp/B07GV5PGJ5/) switches the device to a DTE (Data Terminal/Terminating Equipment).

3. The advantage of have a DCE cable around is that it will connect directly to a DTE cable which is great for serial port experimenting and testings. ...and of course, it is no big deal to connect a null modem adapter to make it a DTE cable when I need it.
-BTW: A null modem adapter should be in every engineers kit anyway - what are you doing without one?

- the screen on driverack 260 is very small and settings take for a while - and this is good cable replacement for using RS232 in the OEM package.
