Great gel

This stuff is so good! They stay on for at least 2-3 weeks if you do your nail prep right. It's pretty easy to mold and stick on when you get the hang of it, and I've done about 4 sets and they all last. Mind you, it will take all day for you to get your nails done but it's sooo worth it! Letting them lift themselves and soaking em off is pretty successful too. Definitely worth the price and time!
Great and beginner friendly but.... removal

it worked super well and I really enjoyed the process I had been looking to try poly gel for a while and this kit was very nice i didn't need to buy much else. it can be a learning curve and a lot of filing but with the some YouTube videos a beginner can definitely do it. however be aware that this is NOT SOAK OFF you will need to file it off or cut it off which is much harder to do for a beginner, I had to have a professional remove it because I don't have an e-file.
Better explanation of instructions

Great for beginners because poly gel gives a person the freedom and time to work with the product to sculpt. Very sticky like most poly gels. Doesn't come with slip solution but you can use 75% alcohol and lint free wipes or even sturdy paper towels like viva or brown paper towels that dont leave lint behind. Instructions to someone that is use to working with nails is ok... but let me give some clarity and a few tips for those new to poly gel nails. Season your nail files before using. Edges of new nail files are always sharp and can irritate nail cuticle so take edges of file and use an old file to soften edges of new file. Be sure to buff natural nails free of shine and remove any dust with alcohol and lint free wipes. This will dehydrate nails for prep. Apply one layer of base coat and cure for 60s. Choose gel color. With spatula end, dip in alcohol before picking up bead of product and placing into nail forms. With brush end, dip into alcohol and wipe excess alcohol on edge of your dish (too much alcohol can cause poly gel to not properly stick to the base gel you applied). Using patting motions, pat gel from side wall to side wall of the nail and pat toward the length desired (follow lines on nail form) place nail form filled with the smoothed out gel onto nail bed about 3 millimeters away from cuticle growth point, apply light pressure to put in place. Too much pressure will cause gel to spill out of sides and you wont have that nice soft C curve you need to create the nail shape. Appling nail a few millimeters from cuticle and guiding it back towards the cuticle (but still a little space away from cuticle)will allow a nice smooth gradient from natural nail into the artificial nail and will prevent the gel from over flowing the cuticle area and causing it to get on the skin which in the future can cause lifting. Flip hand over and make sure gel is smoothed out on the underside of nail so you dont end up with a blob blocking your natural free edge and finger tip from when you pressed the nail into place. Once nails are in place and smooth, double check that no gel smooshed out, if so, take brush with alcohol and remove excess gel from around cuticle area. Cure nails 60s. Take alcohol and lint free wipe and remove tackiness from top and underside of nail. Cut nail to size and file any bits not needed from side walls free edge. Make sure nail is buffed smooth. Remove all dust with brush and alcohol with lint free wipe. Apply top coat and cure 60s. Done. Can also apply a gel polish or even regular polish over top. Be careful not to press too hard when applying the nail forms with gel, if gel extensions are done too thin they can easily break. Hope i didnt male this to complicated or confusing lol
Amazing!

I am a total neophyte when it comes to nails. In my early 20s, I had acrylics for about a year and wore nail polish regularly, however, that stopped when I became a Mom and I'm just now getting back into it. I watched many videos and reviews of different brands of Polygel. In the end, when considering cost and quality, I decided to purchase the Markartt. I'm happy with that decision.
This kit comes with 6 small tubes of polygel. Four varying shades of pink/nude, white, and clear are included in the kit. It also contains a gel base coat, gel top coat, duo forms, a small coarse file, and a brush/spatula combination tool. Bonder, Dehydrator, and Slip Solution are not included in this kit. The instructions state to use 70% Isopropyl alcohol.
The items included work fine, but there are a few issues. The caps on both ends of the brush/spatula tool are loose and fall off easily. The file is very small, I'd guess about 3 inches. The Duo forms are great, but having small hands and nail beds, I had difficulty with the fit. I suspect this would happen with any duo form I used. They were difficult to hold while filling without getting polygel all over your hands. I missed having a tube squeezer to make it easier to dispense the polygel it would have been a nice addition to this kit.
I have used 3 of the colors, clear, misty rose and light pink. The two pinks are very close to clear they are so light. I did open the natural pink, and it appeared a bit darker. The polygel had a great texture, very firm until you start working it. Because the alcohol does loosen the polygel up, you need to be very careful not to use too much. I found it worked best to layer a lint-free cloth over a few paper towels, then dab each side of the brush before working the polygel. Do this often to keep the brush hydrated, but not wet.
The application was easy, and the nails lasted 2 weeks. At that point, there was some lifting which had to be filed off before filling. This is most likely due to not using the bonder/dehydrator. The filling was a bit more complicated, but I was still able to do it easily.
An e-file is recommended for removal and shaping. Though these nails come with a soak off base coat that you are supposed to use prior to application, they are NOT soak-off. You need to file 90% of the material off and then soak off or leave the remainder on your nail.
I really like this polygel, and I'll be buying a large tube of the clear very soon!
Pros:
Price is very reasonable.
Includes tool and duo forms
The gel is a good consistency and works easily.
Base and top coat are very hard and shiny once cured. (My new favorites, I'll be buying more of this as well)
Easy to use
They stay on, even when put on by an amateur.
Cons:
The instructions could be better. If you aren't experienced with nail art, watch some videos on youtube.
The caps on the brush-spatula tool is loose.
It does not come with slip solution - 70% isopropyl alcohol is recommended.
It does not come with bonder or dehydrator.
Duo forms are difficult to hold while filling, leading to sticky fingers.
