Upgraded from Polk audio DB speaker to these and I am just mind blown by the clean sounds these produce, I will always be an alpine Type R fan from now on......of note: I'm running a 5 channel alpine amp with a pioneer double din head unit, which does enhance over all sound quality when compared to just having a stock radio powering these speakers

Dropped these babies into my Chevy HHR SS to replace the standard door speakers (which weren't too shabby to begin with). Holy smokes! SO much more headroom and top end detail, not to mention some serious bass coming from a 6.5" speaker. Didn't upgrade the power amp or anything. Didn't need to. Am so convinced I'm buying a second pair to put in the back doors. Ain't it cool when your best sounding stereo is in your car?
