I purchased this jacket for my daughter to wear to a father/daughter dance. I did return it because it was off white and needed I needed a true white. However, it fit my daughter good in the body but was a little long in the sleeves. I purchased the Medium based on reviews and the size chart. My daughter is a size 5T.
We love the jacket. My daughter has long arms and the sleeves were too short. We made it work!

Originally brought a 10/12 or 12yr old size(can't remember how it's listed) but sent it back because the arms were a little to short. Had to get my 7year old granddaughter the XL. It also didn't come in a box, you could see right through the package.
