Thought it was gonna come in a usb dongle like some people had complained about but this one came with an activation card size of a credit card and a 16GB SD card that has the software(incase you haven't download online) and manual in it! Took me 5 seconds to install and got it ready for editing! I bought an external 500 GB sum-sung t5 SSD from best buy and install the software in it to save my laptops C drive some space. Works fast but havent experience any difficulty yet since i havent started any project but will do an update review after 3 months of using it! Peace!

It comes with sd of the product, and came a credit card with the serial number. The only thing it say after activate and desactivate, it say only two more times for activation dunno why, if some one can clarify me thanks in advance.

I received this as a Christmas present from my mother since I'm switching to DaVinci Resolve from that loathsome Adobe software. For those that are curious on what comes inside well I received a thing book with an SD card containing the DaVinci Resolve installation (which I did not need as I already downloaded it from their site) and an activation card that looks similar to a credit card. I imputed the activation key, and got the full DaVinci Resolve software. This is good as the SD card comes in handy when I need to re-install the software myself and can de-activate my code and re-activate it on another computer making it future proof. Anything to get rid of that greed driven Adobe is fine by me!

The key was originally for version 17 but did work for the new version 18

Can't believe I spent $295 for some letters and numbers, that was a little weird feeling.

Like their business model of allowing such a good free version

free version works really well ... I wanted to upgrade for a few extra features, but I really didn't need to.

Minus 1 star for this , I don't like that the website wanted to force me to use PayPal,... the wierd thing about possible fees of $2000 for saying something they might not like, ive heard its since been changed, but i also heard they put it back in secretly, I don't know what to think ... most social media keeps your posts forever, so if i say one hurtful thing one time that someone can dig up to punish me with... wow... that is just too much. I've been in situations where there was literally no way to be in the right, because the other person was going through internal issues that had nothing to do with me, I certainly don't want my bank account linked in that sort of relationship. Long before the $2000 thing they were pulling moves of blocking people they didn't like as political gestures. That is why I bought it through Amazon, glad it worked.

Paypal works good, and there are always going to be imperfect humans coming and going in any business, maybe I am making too big of a deal out of it, maybe not. ... I have not read the fine print, I don't know if it's still in there. Certainly hope not.
