The Best Children's Portable Puppet Theatre

This Constructive Playthings puppet theatre is the best free standing one of all similar portable theaters because it has a playing shelf. As a puppeteer I use many props and scenes such as the pigs' houses in The Three Pigs or a bridge in The Three Billy Goats Gruff. This theater has a generous playing shelf and sturdy easy to slide on base pieces to render the one dimensional theater stable. I like the height because I can sit on the couch or chair and my four year old grandson can stand to perform. I recommend this highly because props and scenery are essential to puppet theater. Little Miss Muffet needs a shelf for her curds and whey bowl as she eats and prepares for the spider to drop down on an elastic cord from the top of the theater. I love this product. And the price is very fair.

Very pleased with this purchase except that the curtain was cracked in the box. Was a Santa gift, so we had to tape it. This gift is used all the time and has held up. Nothing has broke and shelf is a great feature. I can't imagine it without the shelf. My granddaughters put all the puppets on the shelf and use it constantly when putting on shows.
