I love this thing. I'm a freelance software engineer and I live a highly mobile lifestyle. My norm is to work from a cafe or a library. At the same time, I need a big monitor to work efficiently. This case lets me efficiently transport my desktop monitor wherever. Moreover, I feel like a total bad ass carrying this thing around. It's like that scene from those movies where the guy pulls out a machine gun from his guitar case, except there's no machine gun, just a heavy-duty code spitting machine. (Definitely get a few stares when I setup a 24" monitor down at the coffee shop, but that shouldn't stop you from being your most bad ass self.)

I bought the double screen version of the smallest size, which fits my 24" Dell U2415 monitor with its stand on wonderfully. With the stand on, it's just slightly too tall (about 1 cm), but because everything is soft and flexible it closes up fine and you wouldn't know the difference. The case came with a padded divider that attaches to the insides with velcro, and I removed the divider so that I could hold my one monitor and stand. The padding surrounds the insides of the case and is about 1"-2" thick all around. There's no way that anything inside is getting damaged.

The whole case feels like one of the sturdiest things I've ever had the pleasure to own. If it weren't for the probability that screens will be replaced with neural implants at some point in the next 100 years, I could definitely see this case becoming a family heirloom, like a vintage piece of Oscar de la Renta luggage.

My one complaint is that this case should really have backpack straps. The shoulder strap is almost worthless because this thing gets so heavy that it inevitably slips toward my neck, and hanging a 24" desktop monitor + case from one's neck is a recipe for the chiropractor. That leaves the handle, which is well-made, but my arm gets tired within 10 minutes of lugging this thing around. I recognize that turning this into a backpack would be awkward and it would kinda suck as a general-purpose backpack, but I sincerely think it would still be the best option. If they added the straps and just an inch more room to the outer pocket, I'd be able to replace my normal backpack completely during my workday.

After reading reviews, I skeptically bought the 19-24" bag for my 27" Acer Predator XB1 XB271HU and it's a perfect fit. I used it to take my monitor on a 3 hour road trip and am glad I had it. I normally would strap it into a seat with the screen on the pillow and that works great, too, in my experience, but that wasn't an option for this trip and I would have had to repack it in its box if not for this. I did get it for about $75, and the price is a good bit more than that now, but I think I would still get it for the piece of mind? I might have a harder time taking the leap at the current price.

The monitor stand did not fit in the bag, but this may vary by your monitor and I didn't try at all. I probably could have with the larger bag, but I would have had to take my stand apart which I'd really prefer not to do. This was certainly a lot easier to pack than the monitor box. I easily put the cables in the bag and also put a keyboard in the front pouch (I have a tenkeyless keyboard, but I'm pretty sure a full-size keyboard would have fit). At least with my monitor, I didn't trust the bag to stand up on it's own, but it was easy enough to lean it on something.

Still working after all this year.

I have several gator bags for PA speakers and this is equal quality and build for them. I purchased this to hold part of a DJ booth and it will protect that section perfectly. There are two padded inserts inside which were perfect to protect the op part of my booth and would be ideal for a TV. Would buy again in a heartbeat!

If you like to tailgate as much as we do, having a TV during the game is a plus. The case fit our TV perfectly and will protect during driving to/from the games. Would recommend.
