They look like the pics. The end does screw off but it has a rubber stop, so your unable to put on barend weights. If you unscrew the end cap, the washer inside, falls down and makes it hard to reinstall. I had to remove the grip, hold the washer with a flat head and then screw the cap back on.

Installed on a 2003 Suzuki GZ250. The throttle tube plastic had to be trimmed at the bar end to slide the grip on, but after that minor surgery, a few taps with a rubber mallet and it slid right on. They look great with the blue color of the bike.
