My 13 year old son plays Soccer, so his cleats and shin pads have to be brought to school each day, he also brings his own lunch to school, along with 2 water bottles, a chromebook, and a 3-inch (3) ring binder for his classes. Also a reading book, his glasses and a few other misc. Items and ALL of it fits in the (1) bag. My son LOVES this bag, as do I. Even when Soccer Season is over, this bag is still perfect for every day use. In the Winter when he wears boots for the heavy snow, he can put his sneakers in the bag to change into. My son wears a Men's size 10 sneakers, so the space is big enough to fit his shoes. The front where a full size Soccer ball fits is where I put his lunchbox at, again plenty of room. Inside the 1st compartment is a place for pens, wallet, keys, money. Has a zipper compartment as well. You will not be disappointed in this purchase.

My son needed to ride his bike to school and then on to soccer practice afterwards. We were looking for a bag that could hold both the school materials and soccer stuff. This one looked like it could hold everything when looking at it online, but because he wanted to bring his chromebook (in a case), 3-4 notebooks, plus his ball, cleats and shin guards, it did not all fit. The soccer ball compartment actually pushes back into the main area of the backpack as well as the cleat compartment at the bottom. He could carry either 1 notebook + chromebook with ball and cleats/shin guards or buy taking the ball out and putting the cleats/shin guards in the ball section he could add the extra notebooks. (I should add he wears a size 11 mens shoe.) Either way, it is sturdy enough to hold all of this and ride his bike comfortably. He definitely likes it to his standard school backpack, just need to come up with an option to transport his ball. If you are looking for a standard practice bag, this is definitely on the big side with the internal compartment for a laptop/tablet/chromebook.
