Not an easy cutting saw

Bought this item based on reviews which were mostly 5 stars. A little disappointed during sawing two 1- inch dead/dry limbs off my Japanese maple as it was difficult. Cutting was not smooth, due to fairly wide spacing between cutting teeth. But for $6, what can one expect? can not recommend this saw for big jobs. Handle is low grade plastic that could break under heavy cutting.

Just what I wanted and needed for easily and cleanly dead-heading plants both indoors and out. Can cut off dead leaves and stems, too, without risking accidentally clipping what's still living and blooming. The slim size of the blades is just right to get into small spaces, and the blades are nice and sharp! Because of the set of three, I keep one handy outdoors, one indoors, and one in the potting area in my garage.
