So far so good! I've been looking for something like this for a while And I'm glad I stumbled across this! It works great and it is not too painful since you are working on a very small spot at a time. Took a while for me to get the hang of figuring out which direction to set the auto tweezing rotations to (slide switch to right or left opposite of the hair growth) but once I did things started moving along much quicker.
I have vey sensitive skin so I was worried about snags or bruising but the epliator worked pretty well without damaging my skin. Only had slight redness that went away after a while. Just make sure to follow the directions.
The motor starts warming up quickly after a couple of minutes so I turned it off for a few seconds each time that happened (This is why I gave it only 4 stars). Took me about 20 minutes to finish my upper lip. Hopefully next time will be faster.
Bonus: It is sleek, lightweight and can fit easily into your purse or make up bag.
So far it's been a week and still hair free!

This HURTS! AND it didn't NOT take the coarser hair off my face with ease...if at all. I decided to try it on other areas of my body....and did I mention IT HURTS. I got out my trusty old throw away razor to remove the few little coarse hair to see the difference, It worked the way I was hoping this new Venus Hair remover would work. I gave it 2 stars because battery powered razor is probably great for removing the microscopic hairs of the face for a smooth finish and nice makeup application...but I will stick with my TRUSTY OLD THROW away razor any day!

Ok. This does work but we warned this product does hurt. It does a good job to pull the hairs out. Even gets the tiny short hairs. Not sure how long until it will grow back but so far this is the most effective hair removal Ive used since I can't use wax or things like nair on my skin.
