I would give this 3.75 stars.
Wish the white line wasn't there, wish the word confidential wasn't there.
The cap is too snug, and it makes a mess when you cap it unless you're quite precise. I shaved off the nibs so the cap goes on easier and has made that a bit better.
The print is quite dark and usually only takes one pass.
You can't use it on junk mail with a see-through address panel, because the ink won't dry. You can't use it on Amazon shipping labels, because the ink won't dry.
On plain flat mail, like "balance transfer checks" and credit card offers, it works great (meaning you can't see an embossed image of the actual junk mail underneath the stamps' ink).
It is a little bit of a hassle to open all the mail, might as well just shred it in its envelope, but then I have to empty the shredder more and it makes a mess. First world problems to be sure.

Miseyo is the best I've tried

Whoa! I own a number of redacting ink stampers and rollers, including those made by Plus Guard. Miseyo is the best I've tried. It covers more completely, with a wider path so I don't have to roll twice. I haven't tried to remove it from glossy coated paper, but the inks always come off those for every brand I've ever used. I wouldn't be surprised if Miseyo ink does, too. What I'm using it for is to guard against casual theft -- those who wouldn't go out of their way to find out what's blacked out. For that, it serves its purpose. If anyone ever does find a redacting ink roller that doesn't come off glossy paper (with rubbing alcohol), please let me know.

It works on printer paper... HOWEVER, it does NOT work on Amazon shipment labels. I buy a lot of stuff from Amazon and I specifically bought this product to use on all the Amazon packages I get. IT DOES NOT WORK ON AMAZON LABELS! The ink stays wet for DAYS! I've been testing it. It dries when on paper but NOT on labels. So this product is basically useless to me. The weird thing is, Amazon labels aren't even a shiny plastic or anything. Sharpies or other markers work on Amazon labels, but the ink inside of this product does not. After three days you can still take a dry paper towel (or even your finger) and just wipe it away, with no effort whatsoever, and read everything under it perfectly. I'm really disappointed to be honest.

We have two shredders in my house one is a cross cut and one is not. The cross cut is only a small tabletop shredder and can only handle two pages at a time, which makes for tedious sessions of shredding personal information. I like my privacy and to protect my identity so when I saw this and I thought it might be cool to have on hand for when I want to use the larger shredder. It works great and the ink is dark. I have not been disappointed. My husband liked it so much he wanted to buy one for his parents. It does not work on shiny paper or sleek packaging labels very well unless you're willing to wait for it to dry over a long period of time. However on regular paper like statements, prescription papers, or hospital bills it works amazing!
I am pleasantly roll through my daily dose of junk mail!
