Good value, two can be used for large center speakers

Got these for my massive center channel speaker. Assembly was quick and not too difficult. The columns have a ring to them when knocked. These took roughly 20-25lbs of sand to fill the columns completely for each stand, which deadened them. The columns do not align by tightening them down so manual adjustments are required to get them to not look off. Used 1.25in hemisphere orbs to get a little more lift.

These stands are fabulous. They are well designed and manufactured. The assembly process is idiot proof. Simple design. Easy to assemble. Filled the tubes with cat litter to prevent reverberations. Used blue loctite to prevent the fasteners from loosening. Helped a lot with clarity to isolate the speakers and to get them away from the wall.

Purchased these for my Polk R200 bookshelf speakers.Very easy to put together,are attractive and sturdy.The Polk R200's werent completely supported by the included metal base,approximately 50 percent of the speaker was riding on air with only the center portion being supported.In my opinion not safe,visually appealing,or the best for sound performance.Solution.I purchased black shelving from my local hardware store,cut it to the dimensions of my Polk R200's,used the included metal base as a template when drilling holes in black shelving allowing for use of existing screw holes,centered the shelving,and purchased a few M6 x1.0mm 30mm length machine screws for the added depth of the shelving,and voila,problem solved.The entire base of the speakers is now supported,color matches perfectly,and looks better and I am sure performs as it should with better support.Win,win.
