I finally upgraded my tv to a new Sony Bravia after my old rear projection tv decided to quit. The new TV has newer style connectors (mostly hdmi and one mini plug). My old Sony DVD had component and composite outputs. I researched and found that I could connect the DVD player to the TV via this cable. After making the connections, the TV recognized the DVD player was connected. I haven't watched any DVDs yet but feel confident that I will not have any issues.

Really a great product. If you have an old Sony Camcorder (around 20 years old) I definitely recommend this for watching family videos or other videos and pictures on your TV. The sound and the picture quality were awesome and it was a blast to see my children and relatives so young. Recommend for all!

Thanks to other reviewers here, this is indeed the "Analogue Extension Cable" for composite video-in for my Sony Bravia 4K TV. The pin wiring connections - I checked with a meter - are from Tip: white (left audio), Ring 1:-yellow (video), Ring 2:-common/ground, Ring 3:-red (right audio). This is what the Sony Bravia 4K TV (mine is a X900F) manual calls for to connect my old DVR line out with yellow/white/red output cables into the TV's composite video input. Item I received was Shenzhen Efshiu Electronics cable with package labels of YX-1504, and HTTX X001LQE5EP. Important part of pin wiring for Sony TV is for the green/common to be 2nd ring position in from tip end. Cables without common connected to this position will not work, even if you switch red/yellow/white leads. One caution: this cable is only 5 feet long. I had to buy a separate item - a red/white/yellow extension cable - to reach from TV jack to my DVR.

I was very pleased with audio video cables these are the second ones I ordered the first were supposed to work with my Sony DCR -TVR 320 they did not work they came from another supplier I was not very happy this set of audio video cables I got from You worked very good on my Sony camcorder so I was finally able to watch my underwater videos by hooking my video camera to my tv. your company was a liver safer these cables were hard to find they do make the camera any more. I want to thank you very much.

I would have given this 5 stars, but it took me a few minutes to figure out that the yellow and red cables were wired backwards. Yellow is always video, and red is always right audio. (White is always left audio). But whoever put this together must have put the yellow end on the right audio cable and the red end on the video cable.

This may have just been an isolated occurrence. But if you have the same problem, plug the yellow cable into the red port and the red cable in to the yellow port.

After that, the video and audio are working fine with very little noise. The last wire from a different manufacturer had a lot of noise in the audio. So these must be shielded better.
