I've purchased fans that looked identical but this little purse size packs a wallop, The high setting "blows away" my similar fans. I will buy more rather than simply replace batteries in my older hand fans. I always have one charged, so worth the few extra $$ for this produce. Unfortunately, the housing is the same, first time knocked off side table, battery and insert door went flying. I taped my older fan handles, now this one too..minor issue to be able to not fight with fan to replace battery, which in my other fans, kept recharging for 2 years. Love this powerful little guy.

I work in a call center with failing a/c and people who get cold easily. I am not one of them. I'm sweating like a yeti on an island vacation and drinking ice water like I'm in hell, I had to do something. Some people have fans that have to plug in to the wall, but depending on where you sit you might not have a wall plug free. Enter this bad boy. The battery lasts about 12 hours (one and a half shifts for me,) on the lowest setting, and it keeps me cool enough to get the job done. Works while plugged in to the wall as well. I was worried this product wouldn't blow since it's fairly low priced, but it does, in fact, blow.

Great little fan, packs a powerful flow in a compact design.

I am purchasing this mini portable fan to use on a plane trip. I am a "Coasty" (Seattleite/NW) not accustomed to the weather being too hot or too cold. At times the fans on the plane do not work very well or at all. I will also be using this little gem during a trip to Hawaii in September, not the coolest time of the year to go.

There is a whirring/humming sound when the fan is on, even at the lowest setting. It is not too loud, but still a sound just the same.
The whirring sound increases exponentially with each increase in speed. In order to turn the fan off, you must cycle all the way through all 3 settings. i will be careful to only use this fan on the plane, sparingly, as needed as I do not wish to disturb passengers around me.

The fan is small and compact, but not that small. Yes, it will fit in a good size purse/handbag and it is a bit weighty when you begin to add up all of your little travel gadgets.

Bottom line: I know I will be happy to have this little gem with me. A great tool to add to my bag of travel tricks, especially as a travelling Coasty.
It appears versatile enough for travel, camping, beach, bedside, work/desk top etc..

Update:
I plugged the USB charger into an outlet adapter and left it plugged in. Eventually the tiny red dot of a light did turn green. Although both batteries did work initially upon installation, I still wanted to ensure they were fully charged prior to our trip.
I am still not sure how to tell if the battery is fully charged when the USB charger is plugged in. I do see a tiny red light. Does this turn green when fully charged? If not, it would be quite helpful if there was some kind of fully charged indicator.

I most likely will not carry this around with me when walking or hiking longer than a couple of blocks due to the added weight, not a lot, but it all adds up.

Although I received a defective battery with this fan, it works as described. Contacted the seller regarding the defective battery that was received, sell did not replace.

Purchased in November 2017 and now the battery won't hold a charge as of March 2018
