I ordered this for our 11 year old daughter. I was worried it would be too small but it fits her PERFECT. She looks so dang cute in it and it's going to be great to wear while we swim with the manatees in 72 degree weather.

Helped keep my nephew slightly warmer in the pool but it is lightweight so if the water is really cold he is still not comfortable, but better. The arms are not insulated.. On an average day it is fine though. Wouldn't be warm enough for a cold ocean for sure. As you can see the bottoms length is pretty short. I think he is around 52/53 inches tall, maybe 54 at high estimate. skinny for his age (8) about 50 lb. the zipper in the front is a must have for kids.

My 3yo actually asks to wear this given it helps so much with warmth at swim lessons. I saw the other reviews commenting on the leg not being snug, but this is not meant to be an actual wet suit and I think she would find it uncomfortable if the legs were too snug, especially when sitting on the side of the pool. Excellent product that is well made and functions for the intended purpose.

I would say this fits true to size, but the legs seem a little baggy. My Daughter is almost 4 years old, 40" tall, 35 pounds. I got size Medium. She is on the muscular side, not super skinny. So I would have expected it to fit a little more snug, but I think I will keep this size and hope to get a few seasons out of it.
