Very warm but skimpy

These are my warmest long johns (and I live in Minnesota, so I have multiple pairs). I wear them a lot. But I have to tell you, they are short -- like Capris -- and they run small. They don't come up to my waist and they're very snug, so I have a little muffin top when I wear them. I'm a medium-sized female (5'6", size 10) and I'd have exchanged them but I bought the largest size. And yet they're the ones I wear most often because they are so dang warm.
Doesn't Block out the Cold!!

I am cold-natured and I needed to find a pair of thermal underwear in preparation for my trip to Quebec were temperatures were ranging from -20 to 22 with snow. After reading many reviews I selected the max-heat fleece because of the fleece lining and because of reviews of the warmth provided. After wearing in Georgia prior to going to Quebec I recognized that this was not going to totally cut it. It didn't keep my legs warm as I had hoped as I felt the breeze immediately. So I ended up having to wear some leggings under the thermal pants and a girlfriend tank under the thermal shirt. This see seemed to enhance the protection I was looking for. Now I will say they are stylish, comfortable, and easily fit under my clothes, but they just weren't as warm as I hoped for. Also I would advise ordering the shirt and pants separately if you are shapely as I am.. So I order a medium shirt and a large pant that worked out great (5'6, 170, curvey shape, small waist/wide hips etc)
Super comfy & warm, but poor fit

The pants are great - really comfortable & warm. I wore them outside under a pair of jeans yesterday for about 4 hours in ~35* weather, standing/sitting still for the most part. While my nose got cold, my legs never did. I expected either to be chilly or sweaty with the base layer, but never experienced either.
However--- the 3-star rating comes from the fit. I'm curvy (as in, I have hips and a butt like many women) and these felt like they were cut for a man. They were really tight on my bum. I bought large as I usually wear 31" waist pants, and these cut into my waist a bit -- not to the point of pain, but a little uncomfortable. As the day wore on, they felt like they slid down and I kept having to tug the base layer and my jeans up, particularly after sitting/squatting. I have a feeling this is because of the cut/shape of the pants, more than the actual size.
If you're fairly slim and/or don't have a curvy figure, they'd probably be perfect for you. But as for me, I'd rather have something that fits well.

Look no further - best thermals ever.

I literally do not want to take this off. If you're looking for thermals, these are definitely the ones to purchase. I don't know what exactly I like best about them. Is it how soft they feel? Or perhaps it's that I don't even feel as if I had them on. I ordered the Medium, and the fit is exceptional for this 5'4 gal (measurements 38-33-45). I will definitely add an additional review after my trip up North at the end of the month. I will let you know if they weather the storm.
Super soft and comfy base layers

Super comfy and well-made thermals that are very warm and great for layering. Fit is great (5'8", 125 lbs, size small), and top is long enough to stay tucked in while skiing and running. These black thermals have medium blue stitching on the top and bottom so, unlike the top of the Tesla Blank Women's Thermal Top & Bottom Set w Microfiber WHS200, I would not wear this top as a stand-alone or top-layer tee shirt. All said, I would highly recommend these thermals for base layers.
