When I read reviews I am always interested in ones written a few months after someone has purchased an item. Well it has been a few months now, so far so good. The belt is better than a previous brand I owned. So far it has help up well. Most of these type of belts slip after while and do not hold their size. This one is pretty good at beeping it's adjusted size.

I bought this after breaking 3 ratchet belts in the past 2 months. I was looking for a durable and stylish ratchet belt that would fit in standard belt loops. So far I have been using this belt daily for over a month and love it. I have not had a single malfunction and it always works great. It is quite rigid and I have not noticed any deformation yet.
I also concealed carry using this belt and it has held up well for that too. It is able to support the weight of my pants, all the gadgets in my pockets, and 9mm. This is the best belt I have ever owned. PERIOD. It is easy to use and can be adjusted to the perfect fit and it stays there. I am- currently a fat guy and I used to be quite thin. 6'2" 315 lbs and used to be between180 and 200. I can adjust this to as tight as I want and it stays there. If it does ever break I can just get a new belt blank instead of the whole thing. I can't recommend this higher. I have gone through 5 or 6 belts as I have gotten heavier because of having to get larger sizes or trying to punch new holes or them basically falling apart. Get ONE!!!!

I like the ratcheting mechanism. Compared too the last one I purchased (not sure if on Amazon anymore, will not buy that brand again. Ratchet mechanism would not hold.), I like the button used too release. Ones I ordered are a little smaller then thought, but they work good so far.
