The item is a lot smaller in person then it seems in the picture definitely did not fit larger items but does hold a nice little quantity of toys I would recommend this purchase it only took about 20 minutes but together the toy chest with very simple step-by-step

I am giving this product 1 Star because after having it for 4 months the screws that hold the support bar for the hinge have pulled out of the toy box and the lid will not stay open. Unfortunately I did not know this until it was too late and now my son has a scrapped arm and bruised forehead. Horrible product

It was kind of difficult to put together, but I managed to get it together by myself- with a two year old climbing all over me- in about 15 minutes. The hinge is the hardest part, if you put all the screws in the hinge loosly then slowly tighten them its a lot easier.

Originally wanted to give this four stars but downgraded. Easy enough to put together. I added glue to all the joints for added strength since the material is super cheap particle board. No biggie bc it's for the kids and the price was decent. Put it together yesterday and today, the inside hinge assembly pulled apart and a huge chunk was taken out of the inside. Tried to contact the company but there were no operators available. I just glued the piece back on and used longer screws to at least have it function. Too much of an effort to disassemble and return (being that I glued the whole box together.) not happy.
