Traveling about ½ of the year, needed something substantial to power my Surface Pro 2017 and my Note 8. Based on overall reviews, both within Amazon and elsewhere, this seemed like a perfect fit. Wanted some real world testing based on my needs before posting a review. I already have a bunch of external battery packs, but wanted the convince of carrying 1 and not multiple. First off, this is not cheap. Still can't believe I paid that much money for it, but the more I travel with it, it's well worth the money.

I'll start off with the only negative. But it's expected with this size.
This sucker is long, thick and heavy. Again, that has to be expected since this is 40000mAh. Battery pack alone weighs 1.36lbs

Let's start off with the included cables. (1) power cable (1) connector cable used for the charger to the battery (1) cable to use with a Surface Pro (1) micro usb cable (1) USB-C cable. Cables are long enough and each cable has a Velcro strap (big plus). They're well built cables and pliable "“ not stiff.

The charging unit is awesome. It's a 90W charger. Way more than my Surface 645W charger. Honestly, I cannot tell if it charges any faster using the BatPower charger or the Microsoft charger. The convenience is that I carry 1 charger that can charge the external battery pack or my Surface or charge the battery pack and surface at the same time. The charger also has 2 USB ports. One is a Quick Charge 3.0 (orange) and the other is I believe a 2.4a. The Quick Charge port works as expected with my Note 8.

Moving on to the actual battery. Again, it's big and it's heavy. But this thing goes for days.
On a full charge, I can easily charge my Surface two times and my Note 8 a couple of times. That's more than enough to get me through a full day of heavy use with these devices. This thing is just awesome.

I put up a couple of comparison pics of my old external battery pack, which wasn't all that different in length, but considerably slimmer. But, my old pack was only 10000mAh and couldn't charge the Surface. An added benefit for me is that my travel backpack has a compartment for external battery backs and the BatPower fits just fine. It also has a USB port built into the backpack which allows me to utilize the QC3.0 port on the battery. Now I can Quick/Fast charge my Note 8 using the USB plug on my backpack.

There shouldn't be any problems with TSA. I believe the max you can have is 160 watt hours (Wh). This one is 148Wh. I ended up getting the silver color and really didn't like it, so I ended up wrapping it with some carbon fiber vinyl I had laying around.

After a whole lot of research, I ended up ordering the 56000mAh BatPower Power Bank(ProE 2 ES15) for use my 13-inch Surface Book 2 and Surface Pro. I was looking for something compatct with a good amount of juice that wouldn't leave me handing white out and about. If you are looking for external laptop power banks, you are also going to want to stay on the DC side of things. If you get an AC/DC converter AC to DC you lose efficiency vso you are effectively throwing out the battery capacity.
I wanted something much simpler, with less areas that were just asking for failure. Also I don't like buying into an older generation of technology for the new Surface and older Surface devices.
The DC output on the BatPower sets from 15V/12V which is great because the newest Surface devices needs 15V and older devices needs 12V. The USB QC 3.0 output is 5V to 12V with 3A, and dual USB A outputs 5V 2.1A each, fast charging for any smartphones, it's great to have that kind of output on this power bank.the Slim AC Adapter output can directly charging for the BatPower Power Bank and Surface device.
It easily recharged my Surface internal battery, around 3 times full charges for my Surface devices.
56000mAh is a huge battery pack so don't be surprised, the sizes and weight maybe is not your needs Like some small 5000mAh power banks, so it's 9inch length and around 2lbs weigh, I tested it takes 3 to 4 hours for it to charge fully.

I've bought a lot of battery power packs to charges my numerous devices, but I have the feeling that this one will prove to be the best. Enough juice to power all my MS Surface Pro 4 and many items.
Easy to use, can charges multipke devices at same time. Took with me traveling for 20 days when charging points weren't always available.

Like all BatPower ProE 2 Power Bank, this is an excellent large capacity power Bank for MS Surface Book/Pro, also better in terms of power density.

It has 90W DC output for Surface devices and 30W fast charging USB ports for cellphones, support 90W fast charging adapter(included) or 5V Micro USB chargers for recharges. My Samsung S7 only has a micro USB port but it does support Fast Charging and will take the full 3.0A from the Quick Charge port.

This is a great performing future proof portable charger, shines is that the slim 90W adapter charges for ProE 2 and your MS Surface device directly, support same time charging and discharging!

Purchased this as I am away from a power supply many times and wanted to ensure I had all the power to keep me running through the day, this does the trick.
Yes, it is a little big and heavy but a HUGE capacity for 40000mAh.
Because of it's high capacity it has DC 90W for charging my MS Surface devices and three fast USB charging ports for cellphones or tablet, also has two way input recharges for this power bank(90W and 15W).
The power bank Including the 90W slim multi-function ac apapter you can directly charging for Surface devices and cellphones.
At full charge it can charge my Surface Laptop around 1.5 charges and my iPhone at least 10 full charges.
It's not waterproof so be care should be taking when camping or in outside pursuits. You could perhaps put it in a dry bag to protect it.
Overall, I am very happy with this.
