If it came with examples of entering values and problem solving for each of it's functions it would be a good tool.

It came without a manual. Trying to figure out how to enter values is very difficult for me. I have tried to solve faa test questions without success.

Amazing calculations and more options. No manual showing the in depth functions. Online has a PDF on ASA.com. Way better than the E6B
Great for CAX exam

This was a life saver for the Commercial Airplane (CAX) knowledge exam! Used sheppard air to memorize all the rote memory answers, and used this to calculate all of the number answers. 98% on the exam!
But the rest I used so far is good.

Relatively intuitive but I don't get how the unit conversion works... The Manuel is very small and doesn't explain everything. But the rest I used so far is good.

It's more than just a backlit CX2: It is by far the most user friendly flight computer I've ever used. Not only does it do more and do it better, but unit conversions have also been made effortless. You can enter data on any page in any measurement unit. For computations, you just fill in the data you have and it'll fill in the rest - do calculations backwards or forwards with any partial data set and it'll complete the rest. It also offers multiple backlight brightness modes and display color schemes.
It's a massive time-saver on FAA tests and for flight planning.
