Such an awesome rig. The wood is a nice touch and I love how adjustable everything is. It fits my light, mic, and gopro on a gimbal--all while holding my DSLR. I really like this thing!

I'd been looking for a cage that might be adjusted to accommodate different cameras with some different accessories attached and this fit the bill perfectly. It can be configured for either right or left handed side handle and the top handle is very nice to have. There are lots of places to hang other accessories. The materials are very solid and the unit is well made. As far as the price goes this is one of the best values around on a good cage and the only One that I've found that allows for this much adjustment.

The Camvate Universal Adjustable Camera cage is just that, universal and adjustable. I purchased this cage because I was trying to use an accessory (Sony's XLR-K1M microphone system) on my Sony A6000 that another cage I had, would not accommodate. I looked at every cage that said it was compatible with my A6000 but none of them would work with this particular accessory because the cable with the "hot shoe" connection, connects in a way in which the cable runs towards the front of the camera instead of the rear as one would expect. That cable interferes with placement of all of the other cages.
I decided to try Camvate's Universal Adjustable camera cage after looking at the dimensions and sure enough, it fit perfectly. Only afterward did I discover the XLR-K1M isn't compatible with my A6000 but I liked the cage so much I decided to keep it and use it anyway, replacing my cage from another manufacturer (which is still a great cage but I like this one better.) The wooden side and top handles are also very nice features and the package comes with two different length extender pieces to accommodate a wide range of camera heights. I am VERY satisfied with this piece of equipment.

Really like the cage and rig. Opens up the options and potential for your camera and accessories. The Camvate people are very attentive and look to fix and address any concerns you may have in customer service. Excellent buy when Wooden and Tilta and other are charging 4x as much.
