Not human hair so no coloring or chemical services can be done!

Not nearly as thick as it looks and it seems like 100% synthetic hair and no human hair! It's useful for practicing updo and braiding but you have to use a curling iron on lower temperature so I found it doesn't hold a curl very well. Also is good for cutting but cannot do any chemical or color services on it. When I ordered this manikin I swear it said 100% human hair! I'm not sure if they changed title due to complaints, but it now shows 40% clearly stated. Since I'm a student working in a clinical setting, I need manikins with human hair to practice coloring, highlighting and chemical services. I would not have intentionally purchased only 40% human hair for this reason. Disappointed! I do love the color though.
GREAT for teaching kids self-care/make-up, NOT great for those needing Human hair- 100% synthetic!

As a head for my daughter to practice with, (she does NOT like the Barbie style heads, lol..!) this was just perfect. It clamps solidly onto the edge of the table, and she's been braiding it and doing... interesting makeup routines for hours on end. To that end, it is an absolutely wonderful purchase, and I HIGHLY recommend it for such uses, far above any current styling head/bust for young children.
However, for someone wanting a styling head of Human hair, THIS IS NOT WHAT YOU WANT. I can't give this the full five stars I want to, because the title is NOT accurate, this is 100% synthetic. You cannot learn how to work properly with hair using this, nor use it to pass any exams.

This mannequin Head hair was long enough for me to try to start braiding and flat ironing hair i washed it first and it came it good it comes with extra items like comb rubber bands and other stuff but it does have synthetic blend hair in it but it worked out well for me

Mom was driving my niece crazy using her as a mannequin so I bought this for her to use instead. Now mom loves this head more than us i think. The only down side is that a few hairs have started to come off the mannequin but in all fairness it's being used nonstop for days now.

Hopefully this will help someone out. Do NOT buy if you want real human hair like I did. Title is very misleading and I am beyond disappointed. I'm a cosmetology student who is trying to enter a competition after spending 6 hours trying to process and reprocess the hair I re read the fine print of the description and realized that's why my bleach didn't take. Returning. Don't waste your money or time like I did.
