Seems to be as effective as other calamine lotion brands

We use calamine lotion not merely for relief from poison ivy/oak, but more generally to help control itching from eczema flare-ups and other contact dermatitis irritations. Calamine lotion isn't a magic potion or an entirely satisfactory solution. But it's safe, and it helps. This calamine lotion seems no different from other, more well-known brands.....so, given that it is quite a bit cheaper, it seems to me to be a good choice.
Seems effective

This calamine lotion seems to be effective against mild itchiness and skin irritations. The active ingredients are calamine 8% and zinc oxide 8%, both are proven skin protectants. The lotion itself is very thin and runny. It is a suspension and needs to be well shaken before using. I tested it by applying it with a cotton ball. It did a good job of calming down the irritation from dry skin. It also had a somewhat mild cooling effect on the skin, which was soothing. It will be handy in the local trails and outdoor adventures when spring comes.

The lotion comes in a pack of six individual 6 fl. oz. bottles. These have a flip-top cap with a dispensing orifice. They are of a convenient size for carrying in the backpack, car's glove box and first-aid kit. They also have a long shelf life with an expiration date of about five years from now. Overall, they seem to work well and are a great value for the money. Great product.
Applies easily, good price per ounce compared to others.

I grabbed this so I'd be prepared for a camping outing coming up, just in case of need for any of the families going.

I tested application, but can't test against the actual poison ivy and such as it's wintertime here currently. But application was fine, didn't seem any more or less thick than any other I've tried over the years, applied easily as expected.

Seems to be a better price per ounce than most of the other options out there as well.
smooths itches, bites and rashes

Looks and smells just like the Calamine lotion we all grew up with. Works just as well. Bought the 6 pack for our son's boy scout troop. Got it us through a summer of poison ivy, rashes, chicken poxs, and bites. Smells like calamine lotion, applies like calamine lotion and dries pink on the skin. Does stain if it gets onto clothes but does wash out.
