Amazing pans. Exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to try the famous chocolate cake by Ina Garten and as I don't have 8" round cake pans, decided this is a good excuse.
It's so impossible to come by these classic pans. I have tons of glass and nonstick pans but not a single aluminum one as those are hardly available for sale in local groceries.
When I found this pair I was beyond happy.
I could finally created the cake I had been eyeing for months. It came out amazing, evenly baked and no dome on the top. The cake was a winner.
Even after the first use, the pans remained as new. A gentle scrub with dish shop easily cleaned away all the stuck batter.
These are well made, sturdy, even and super easy to clean. The included picture of one of the pans is after first bake and cleaning. I have no reasons to use any other cake tin anymore.
Super happy.

First of all, others have written of a tendency of these pans to flake (and I think I'm seeing that on one pan).
For some unknown reason, the manufacturer thought it was necessary to glue a thin cardboard circle with advertising in each and every pan. WHAT A PAIN to remove! You can't get your finger nail under the edge, as it's too tight. You can't get a rubber spatula under it as that is too thick. The only thing that would work is the tip of a paring knife (which then scratches the pan) or a cake frosting style thin spatula (but still a possibility of scraping the pan). It was so frustrating to try and get all of them out for first baking.
It's that rubber kind of glue, so that does come out easily, but be prepared to figure out how to get the cardboard out.
Pans cook evenly, and when sprayed heavily with cooking spray, cake removes easily (didn't need flour). Not as easy to eject cake as with silicon, but still works well. The different tiers will end up different thicknesses unless you use your own judgment about filling the pans up (you can't just fill each one half way - the little ones will have much thicker tiers).
It's a fun set to have, though. I would put the equivalent of two cakes in the largest pan (that cardboard? it has some chart about how to do this - but by the time I got the cardboard out, it was shredded, ha). Otherwise, that large tier will be ridiculously thin compared to the others. Then, you need to adjust the others similarly. One could fill each pan 3/4th full to get the right effect for most tier cakes (although for some specialty cakes, you'd need two of some of the pans - not sure they are sold separately.
