First off I Watched the Pond Guru's videos and learned so much about water filtration and how to keep my koi healthy. This product by far is the best your going to find on the market especially for fish that produce a lot of waste. This media has thousands of micro air pockets to help move the water through and creative a healthy environment to reduce toxins. Thank you to the Pond Guru for sharing this product and all the fish saving info!

This is the best biological filter media there is! I've used all different types of media in my canister filters (SunSun and Fluval) and this media reduces the ammonia and nitrites the fastest, by a long shot. Additionally, it's been the best at keeping nitrates continually at acceptable levels. Watch Pond Guru's videos on Youtube to learn how to best set up your filter with this media (ordering of trays, mechanical vs. biological filtering, etc.)
