These just arrived and my rating is for how they fit, the feel, color. How they hold up only time will tell. I purchased the medium. I wear 30 or 32 waist pants, depending on the cut and style. These workout shorts do not come in small so I took a chance on the mediums. Fits just fine, the elastic waistband expands and contracts to permit a comfortable fit. The material is pliant, did some squats to test. Look forward to a full gym workout with them to find out how the material handles sweat or exertion. So far so good though. If they made a small it would be REALLY small. For someone with a 28 or 29 waist, you might want to look elsewhere.

These are great shorts for the price. Can't find anything like this in box stores. They fit just right using the directions for sizing. I would normally wear a large but the sizing directions say to get an XL if you normally wear Large. Works perfect for me. People have mentioned the pockets are too small. Yes they are small, but what do you really need to carry in workout shorts? If you put too much weight in the pockets, your pants will fall down! :-)

As many other reviewers have pointed out, the size on these run at least one and a half sizes smaller than a US male would expect when buying something like this. I ordered a 2XL and I normally take between an L and an XL. These fit me just fine. The draw strings are even superfluous. This is a fine quality product. Truly well made and not flimsy in the slightest. The spandex essentially cradles your junk nicely if you go commando. The pockets are a good feature.

Just got these today and already they're my favorite workout shorts. I hate slick materials and dress-length shorts, so these are a godsend. 5" inseam was perfect for me, and the material is soft and elastic. I plan to wear them for running also.

The size is perfect for me. I have a 44 inch waist and the xxl fits comfortably. The material is very soft and the shorts are well made. I can't wait to go cycling with them. The short inseam won't interfere with pedaling. If there is a drawback, it would be that the drawstring is too short, but the elastic waistband should be sufficient.
