There's no comparison between processed sugars, including brown, and panela. It highlights and compliments nuanced flavor notes in specialty coffee as well as it's natural sweetness. It's transformative in the richness it brings to my cuppa, and the only sweetener worthy of truly special beans. Do yourself a favor and try it for yourself. Probably steps even mediocre beans into another class as well.

Delicious Product. Better Than Any Sugar

I discovered this in the 8 oz bag version at my local Natural Grocers, and ever since then I won't buy anything else. The flavor, richness, and quality of this product are outstanding and frankly a refreshing change from the other forms of extremely low quality (and bad for you) sugar in the supermarkets here in the US. The quality of this product shines whether you use it raw in some form or, (especially) if you are cooking with it. Put it in soups, sauces, drinks, it will make everything that much more richer, and flavorful. This obviously doesn't have that awful acidic aftertaste of refined sugar that makes one feel weak, light-headed, and just all-around ill. But then again, the fact that this doesn't compare to domino's sugar (whatever domino's is) isn't saying all that much. You will notice the quality of your recipes improving. "Sweet" is our predominant taste sense. That isn't an evolutionary accident. It's when corporations do their corporate things with our health, that's when things go collectively downhill for us humans. I really hope they never stop selling this. To whomever that produces this product, thank you.

I really like Panella as an alternative to processed food sugar. The taste is great and I feel good about putting it into my body.

Nothing to dislike. It is healthy if you like to sweeten your coffee or chocolate.
I like it. Have been using unrefined cane sugar for years as well as organic raw honey.
