After adding some carrot pieces to entice my mare to taste the new ingredient in her food, she began eating it easily. It took about a week or so to notice improvement, but has continued to improve daily. Not totally resolved but vastly improved. I recommend this product.

I have used this over the years on and off for an older mare who has occasional breathing issues. I used it recently because we had a lot of smoke from the fires on the west coast, and I know it helps her. It smells great and I add it to her supplement mash. The scoops are big so it is an expensive product, but that is the truth with most horse products. I will also add that I have been using flax for all our horses for the past 2 years (organic, ground just before feeding) and it has made a gigantic difference in their resistance to illness, even breathing issues. It helps with inflammation. So I suggest that too.

This stuff works amazing! We contacted Equine Med surg (the maker of Heave Ho) and Dr Riley gave us a regimen for our horse with severe allergies and copd.
