Great When You Can No Longer Swaddle
D.D✓ Verified Purchase•March 29, 2018
This is a cute sleep sack. It is soft, and easy to use. The large fits my 18 pound baby just fine, and has more than enough room for him to kick his feet in the air and roll around when he is asleep. He can no longer be swaddled since he can roll, and it's a no-no to use a blanket, so this is the best alternative. It keeps him nice and warm. It is easy to put on and off, and makes very little sound in the middle of the night when I am changing his diaper in it. It is machine washable, and after a few months use, it is still just as soft. I like it, and so does the baby.
New favorite sleep sack - SO warm and soft!

We use sleep sacks for every nap and night time sleep and this one is the best. I think it's better designed than Halo or Aidan and Anais. Why?
First off, it's warmer. It's such a soft material that my baby loves the feel of it. It just gets softer with each wash. Keep in mind, it's VERY warm. Warmer than the Halo fleece sacks.
Second, I like that it unzips from the top. I don't have to catch the clasp like I do on the others. It's just quicker and easier in the dark.
I wish this came in an XL! My son is a year and a half, 25 pounds, 32.5 inches. The Large size says up to 36", but there's no way he will squeeze in there for that long.
Whichever of my friends inherits this next for their baby will be very happy - and it will definitely make it through multiple kids!

I have several of the AmazonBasic Baby wraps including the cloths, sacks and blankets. I like them all and quite impressed with Amazon's Baby line of products. I have always used the cloths but I am fast becoming a lover of the sacks, they are quick and easy to use.
The Muslin Sacks was a tad rough and probably needs to be washed before use, it's perfect for spring and summer. The Fleece Sack is soft, warm and cozy which is perfect for fall and winter. The Fleece Sack is $2 more than the Muslin one. But if you want a tight swaddle go with the Muslin Saddle wraps.
Adorable prints with some packages that come in gender neutral design and color. Wash and fits well.

SwaddleDesign's sleep sack is an wonderful sleep sack, made exceptional with the 2-way zipper.
The sleep sack is nicely made from very soft and warm micro fleece material. The fabric is high quality, the stitching is even and straight, and the zipper is smooth.
Outside of the zipper this is your usual sleep sack. The 2-way zipper is a wonderful idea. I have struggled far too many times to get the zipper started on my other sleep sacks. There is nothing worse than having a drowsy baby becoming fussy because I'm trying to zip up his sleep sack right by his face. This sleep sack eliminates that issue. The zipper here is always threaded and can be pulled up from the bottom to the top to close the sack, or up from the bottom (by using the second zipper) to open just the bottom and keep the top closed. That is a great set-up for changing dirty diapers, and for getting your baby to sleep.
I washed the sack in my front load washer on the gentle cycle with warm water and dried it on low heat. It came out perfectly and did not shrink.
All in all... an excellent sleep sack.
