My family and I recently visited Niagara Falls and I knew I had to take my canon dslr for this beautiful sight but was unsure how to keep it safe from all that water. I took a chance and ordered this bag despite a few negative reviews. I am so glad I did!!! The bag kept my camera BONE DRY as we experienced the Cave of the Winds AND the Maid of the Mist! The rest of us can't say the same....we were drenched! I was able to take many photos during both excursions and every shot turned out great. Such a great find and awesome protection against the elements. I highly recommend, see my photo of the inside of the bag just after we finished the Cave of the Winds tour.

This really is a good bag, but for the right sized camera. I borrowed a Nikon Coolpix to go to the Galapagos since the zoom was much better than my camera. I tested the bag at home by putting stuff in the bag and submerging it. I left it for over an hour and everything was perfectly dry. I also put the camera in it to make sure it would fit okay. It did, but then when it came time to use it, it was extremely difficult because the bag was too big and the camera kept moving around. I couldn't hit the buttons or get a clear shot. That said, it you have a bigger camera, it'll work great. For smaller cameras, try something else.

I used the bag with a canon 6d DSLR and was pleased with the overall results. It wasn't used under water but at a crazy water park party where people were dumping buckets of water on other people so needless to say I had to secure my camera. I had some issues with fogging occasionally where I had to wipe off the mist but this was expected due to the humidity. Also it can get a little tedious to focus if you intend on using manual focus a lot. Overall I was pleased and was able to get the job done.
