The 18 gauge provides a nice feel from the baseline and at the net as well as solid power (I go with 52-55# tension with a Yonex VCORE 100). You can't beat the Tier One Customer Service! They are "Aces" ;-)

Haven't been able to use the strings for an extended amount of time, but they're decent, quality strings. Wouldn't put them on the same level as Luxilon - which, I think, is their goal. Are they the generic cola to Coca-Cola or a less expensive, but comparable, version of a high quality string like Luxilon? I'll come back after I've had more time with them - but, so far, more in line with the Coke analogy.

I have used this as a main string in a few racquets, different gauges depending on the string pattern. Thicker gauge for 16x19 and thinner gauge for 18x20. In both variations I used their Ghost Wire as the crosses in the same thickness. This combo has worked very well in each racquet I put it in and I will continue to purchase it as it is a good buy for the dollar amount.
