This kit was simple to use. When you receive it, it needs to be registered on the official website before you actually test yourself. I found that the directions were easy to follow and it was nice that it came with a prepaid postage envelope. I got the results back in five days-3 for shipping and 2 for the actual lab testing. I feel like this is a pretty legit product, which was an initial concern of mine since there aren't a lot of reviews on the internet. This may be unrelated but I did check the press coverage of this company and they have several investors and have been in quite a few publications, which made me feel more comfortable buying it. Of course, its cheaper than paying $500 for a doctors appointment and lab testing, which is nice too.

Instructions were great. Labs are relatively easy to do in the comfort of your own home, which is a huge improvement over having to go into the doctor's office, be asked invasive questions, and be poked and prodded by a stranger. One exception: I found the blood test to be more difficult than the swab - had to poke my fingers multiple times trying to get enough blood out, and then it was hard to make sure all the blood went where it was supposed to without touching the card, etc.

Everything needed to send back the labs is included in the box. It even includes postage and a padded envelope. You just package it up and send it away. It's discreet except for a little label on the envelope that says something like "biological samples" (I assume that they are required to include that label for legal reasons). The lab received my samples within 48 hours, and processed it within another couple of days. They send an email with a link to your results, which you can print as a PDF or store online.

Overall, great experience - a big improvement over having to make a doctor's appt. My only complaint: it's so expensive! Although a doctor's appt might cost as much even if you have good insurance, so maybe it's just a toss-up. Would definitely purchase this product again in the future.

This took exactly 7 days from me testing myself to obtaining results. The amount of time will depend on where exactly you are located; I am in Central California. The testing facility is located in Vancouver, Washington so if you are further away, it will take longer to receive results because of shipping times. I sent this on the 15th, it arrived at their facility on the 17th, and I got my results on the 22nd.

The testing package contained a vaginal swab and also a blood testing kit (One of the answered questions for this product falsely states that the kit contains 3 swabs: oral, vaginal, and anal; this is WRONG).
The blood test contains a single use lancet which will eject a needle to prick your finger; if you mess up there is a second lancet just in case. Follow the instructions, clean your hands with soap and warm water and shake/clap your hands vigorously to increase blood flow before pricking your finger. You need a pretty significant amount of blood for this test, if you follow the instructions, you will not have to prick yourself multiple times.

This kit is significantly more expensive than others that you can find on amazon. The reason for this is because if you are found to have a positive result, it comes with a free doctor consultation via phone where they can call in a prescription to your local pharmacy. This is completely worth it for me.
The other testing kits on amazon do not include a doctor consultation; so if you have a positive result you will need to seek more care from a medical professional.

I was concerned that this would be difficult but it was not. Results arrived quickly and with explanation. You register your kit before you use it so you're able to go to the website for results or even updates on progress. I recommend it!
