I'm new to hearing aids, and they're such a big investment that I wanted to do my best to take good care of them so they will last as long as possible. Even though I live in a somewhat arid environment, hearing aids are still affected by the moisture given off by your body, such as through sweating. I was attracted to this particular device because it's compact, nice looking, and simple. I didn't feel like I needed any ultraviolet disinfecting, or dual drying agents to get the job done. The price was also great. The led light given off while it's working isn't annoyingly bright, but I like a completely dark room for sleeping, so I keep it in the bathroom where it makes a perfect nightlight for those middle of the night trips.

It seems to do a good job. I like the fact that it is small and does not take up a lot of space.

Oops! I forgot to take out my hearing aids one morning before showering and they both sounded crackly and were almost ruined. I live out in the dry western US. My son-in-law audiologist back in the humid east told me, "No worries, just get a Dry Dome. It'll dry them right out. I got one. It did just that, saving me hundreds of dollars to replace them.

This little guy is amazing! If your hearing aids are small or your Cochlear Implant processors have the removable battery case you will love this! No dry bricks needed!
