When I got this plant I was not sure it was going to make it. I don't think it was the sellers fault, they did a spectacular job at packaging the plant, but lets face it, mail service is not gentile on anything and I think the plant went into a little bit of shock. For the 1st 2 weeks I had it, I did not repot it, the leaves just kept turning yellow and dying off and it didn't seem to grow much at all. However, once I repotted this little 4 inch plant into a 20 inch planter in some tree and shrub dirt, it took off like a rocket. In just 4 or 5 weeks it has tripled in size and has new starts on a daily basis. I know it looks a little sad in the picture, but that's because I live in Houston and even full sun plants don't like the Houston sun. I have constructed an aerated shade to help with the afternoon sun (that will kill a cactus around here) and that has helped tremendously and I think once this star fruit tree gets bigger, it will be able to handle the full sun. I am happy to say that I have a healthy, thriving star fruit tree and I would definitely recommend this seller for your plants/trees. They send quality plants and take care to package them properly.
