Even though it's not leather and is seems the canvas could be thicker, this thing is strong! It's been used to move firewood from the backyard up the stairs to the back deck almost every day for over two years and it's not even showing any signs of wear. And I am not gentle with it. I don't abuse it, but I don't baby it either. I still want one that's leather and heavy waxed canvas (or all leather), but that won't happen until this one gives up (though I'll probably buy another one of these first). ;)
