I have been giving lean treats to my dog for several years now. He is on numerous meds (pills) and I split the treats in half and stuff the pills in the treat. I throw them into his dry food bowl where he'll either eat the full bowl or just cherry pick the treats out. I also give him the treats for rewards when deserved.
