Just like the original- works great! I like having a backup as well as a second to use when making more than bottle. Good buy.

This worked great with my soda maker

We love our Drinkmate. We did an analysis of how many liters of soda water we got from the canisters vs. how much it would have cost to buy a similar amount of soda water at the grocery store, by keeping a tally of how many liters we got from one canister. The results are that it's slightly cheaper to do Drinkmate than to buy the generic versions of soda water at the grocery store, and it's a lot nicer to just have it anytime you want, right in your kitchen, rather than have to buy it. Additionally, it's easier on the environment to avoid adding too much plastic to the waste stream. (I read that since the price of gas dropped due to the pandemic, that warehouses of plastics meant for recycling are just sitting there waiting for the price of gas to rise.) However, the pandemic poses another problem. The retailers that might have taken the canisters back for recycling are understandably not allowing anyone to bring anything from their homes into the stores. So that means that these very heavy canisters should probably be returned to the company via UPS. I have to figure out what address I should send them to. The price of doing that (not to mention the aggravation of sending something by UPS) is going to be enough to make this a labor of love for the environment that saves us no money, and may even be slightly more expensive than buying plastic bottles of generic soda water.
